Fellows of the EDSRA

The following individuals are members of an elite group. A 'fellowship' is the highest honour that the EDSRA can give,
and is awarded to individuals who have given many years of service to the association.

Jack Bushnell - Awarded fellowship in 1990. Jack was instrumental in forming the ASRA in the mid 1980's,
in an effort to bring Alberta in line with other provinces in having a province-wide referees' association.
Jack is sadly no longer with us today.

Cor Rodenburg - Awarded fellowship in 1991. Also played a large role in setting up the ASRA.

David McDonald - Awarded fellowship in 1997. David was president of the ASRA, Edmonton Society three times,
beginning in the 1980's. He was also the first president of the provincial ASRA, and, in over two
decades of membership, could always be counted on to contribute when it was needed.

Shaun Hammond - Awarded fellowship in 2007. Shaun's contributions to the soccer refereeing community
are immeasurable. As a referee, instructor, assessor, mentor, and member of various soccer bodies and
committees, Shaun has led the way in Edmonton and the Province for most of the 17 years that he has
been involved. There are few, if any officials in Edmonton who have not gained something from Shaun's
experience, dedication and knowledge - even those who have never met him.
